From its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark’s Phase One has today released the latest version of its Raw conversion / workflow application Capture One. Available in standard, DB and PRO versions, Phase One’s Capture One 5 adds a number of new features, some of which are limited to the PRO version only.

Mamiya has announced the price and availability of its new DM22 and DM28 medium format cameras. Priced at $9,995, for the body and 80mm f/2.8 lens D series lens, DM22 is by far the cheapest medium format camera around.
Canon has announced their new high speed flagship camera, the 1DMk IV. By all accounts this camera should be a beauty and will sell for about US$5000.
Nikon has been at it again. Releasing some patents on new lenses that appear to be designed for smaller than DX chip cameras.
I’ve been getting requests to give a quick summary of my understanding of upcoming Nikon products. One of the reasons Nikon has been aggressive in some areas of the market is simply the economic climate. There really is very little point in release some products along with your competition when you’re not going to sell that many.
Canon has decided to miss the PMA 2010 exhibition to be held in California in February . Oh oh, that can it be good, can it?
