Nikon will be announcing some new products in April 2009. It’s expected that this will include the upgrade to the D60, and of course, there’s no way to get official confirmation of this.
The Canon EOS 5D MkII is Canon’s latest full frame DSLR. Externally it is very similar to the Canon EOS 5D. The only really obvious difference is the larger LCD screen and the chrome plated hotshoe vs. the black painted hotshoe of the 5D. Internally the EOS 5D MkII shows more differences, with the major hardware change being a 21.1MP sensor which replaces the 12.8MP sensor of the 5D.

Kaiser Fototechnik has just introduced ProDisk, a universal tool for managing white balance, exposure and colour. The ProDisk combines a grey card, a white balance filter and a colour checker in a slim folding plastic housing. The grey card and the colour checker are normally placed within the scene and are helpful tools for exposure metering or a follow-up colour comparison. When doing a manual white balance the translucent white balance filter with its special surface pattern needs to be held in front of the lens. The Pro Disk is available in two sizes, ProDisk mini and ProDisk II.
Canon has announced their 450D upgrade, the 500D. What’s the new camera got? Fromt he press release:

What new lenses will Nikon be introducing for 2009? There is every likelihood that there will be about 5 lenses introduced for ’09. Nothing really new here, except they might not be the the lenses people may be thinking are coming.
